The Logo

The new parish logo gives form to the breadth & depth of the title we bear - Risen Christ Catholic Community.

The broken cross affirms that the stranglehold of death is broken in light of Christ's resurrection.

The wheat and the cedar of Lebanon are biblical images for the paradox of death yielding life and the ancient roots of life.  They are woven through the broken cross, symbol of death vanquished.

The circle, open in each direction, reflects our Catholic identity - strong & clearly understood as well as open to the people & wisdom of the larger world.

Rooted in the earth are the cross, the Lebanon cedar & the wheat.  They declare the common ground we share with all creation in God's gracious gift of resilient life.
