Description
This ministry serves the entire faith community as well as individual parishioners. It has been in existence since 1997, as the Parish Nursing/ Health Care Project at Risen Christ. It educates parishioners about health issues via bulletins and classes. Ministry members provide health screening (blood pressure checks), basic assessment, and information on community health resources. Members visit homebound and/or hospitalized parishioners. New babies are welcomed to our community with a baby blanket and a crib cross.

Requirements
Open to licensed health professionals in such areas as medicine, social work, psychology physical therapy and others. Members meet every other month. The parish nurse can be contacted in the Parish Nurse Office on Sunday Mornings. Or call the Parish Office as ask the Parish Nurse to contact you.
