Greeters

Procedures

Description
Greeters play a key role in extending hospitality to parishioners and visitors. Before mass begins, they stand near the doors of the church and warmly greet all who enter. They make sure everyone has a hymnal or worship aid. Greeters should also be prepared to provide special assistance to various individuals if needed and/or answer any questions people may ask as they come to Mass.

Requirements
Open to all adults and any youth who will work together with an adult. Must attend a brief initial training session. Greeters are scheduled to serve at the Mass they normally attend.
