Basketball Tournament

Description
This ministry serves the community by providing organized athletic experiences for children and youth. Responsible individuals arrange for the use of practice facilities, schedule practices, notify participants of u pcoming events, and coach the parish basketball team(s).

Requirements
Open to all adult parishioners. Must enjoy working with children and youth. Must be knowledgeable in the rules of basketball, as well as effective coaching techniques. Must conduct two hour practice periods 2-3 times per week, from January - March, in preparation for mid-March tournaments and then coach the team(s) when they participate in this competition.
