Finance Council

Description
This ministry serves the community by assisting the pastor in administration of parish finances according to Church law and diocesan norms

Requirements
Open to all adult parishioners who express interest and are appointed to the council. Must attend an 11/2 hour monthly meeting. Current goals for this advisory body include:
1. Planning for the financial growth and strength of parish, after reviewing parish plans and projects;
2. Developing a budget commensurate with the approved parish development plan;
3. Generating financial support for parish programs, e.g.: K through Adult Religious Education Social Justice Outreach Liturgical Ministries Parish Nursing/Health Care Team
4. Generating financial support through fundraising efforts to cover the costs of capital projects such as Phase I of the Church’s construction/office complex remodel, and future expansion of the current building, as needed.
